Rob G is on the home stretch to getting his red MGB GT on the road.one of the problems was that the headlight alignment was out. On further investigation the elusive "bodger from BL" had been there before. Can you identify the issue, answers on a post card please.

After a few weeks of hard graft the dat had come for Rob G to present the MGB GT to the MOT tester. The good news is that it as a fine bill of health and is good to use on our glorious British roads.

I think the problem is that, compared to the first image, the lamp units have undergone a minute change in mounting angle known as 'flopped out'. This can be diagnosed by checking if you can see the back of the lamp unexpectedly, or scratching of the lens as it bounces along the road. The end effect is know as '(very) low beam'. Mend properly with some sellotape, or 6" nail (check tyre pressures afterwards).
