Nigel has been working on his Moggie Van project now for 12 years. Progress is being made and it will end up being a stunner. This blog will keep you informed on the progress, hopefully not another 12 years though.

Cinderella will go to the ball, we'll it will be going to the NEC tomorrow for its unveiling to the public. Three cheers for Nigel for his grit and determination in true 1381 style.
More bits have found themselves fastened on, re-jigged, or swapped amid the odd curse, but as of this evening the van has all its body panels fitted except the rear doors, and it starts on the key....
A wing (and a prayer) added today, steering column installed, some wiring shenanigans investigated and various fluids poured into the required holes (and a bit on the floor, but that's how it goes). New fuel tank, wetted with the last ever 10 litres of Finest Inch E5 Petroleum, made from pure Tyrannosaurus Rex and prehistoric tree ferns. The video shows a sensible pre-prove-out of the systems: competent auto engineers will observe the lack of plug leads and cooling system, so a running engine was far from intended. But there's always tomorrow... More to be revealed!
One more step closer.
Assuming the van has its original registration, an "NU" designation is a Derbyshire number and suggests Nige's project is at least currently not very far from where it started life - but who knows where it's been in the meantime. I speak from the perspective of a car registered in Rowley Regis (kinda Bromsgrove, Brum), but spotted on Everest and The Moon as well as Spa, Laon and Market Bosworth.
Keep on keeping on, Nigel, and if it's a WIP at NEC that's AOK!
Here's a link to a list of the old region registration codes: not sure it's perfect but it's a start if you're interested in that... more formal web sites out there if you want more detail.…
