Finally Steve has decided enough is enough and waiting another 20 years for overdrive may not be a good idea seeing as we aren't getting any younger. So today has seen the start of the swap. A couple of issues with the clutch cover bolts that require replacement and from the photo he sent me the Spitfire Bites!

Is that it? I’d been told you’d lost your leg! Correct me if I’m wrong, isn’t the scar below also from a grinder- there’s a pattern emerging here....
The majority of us have never seen him naked so we will have to trust you on that comment Steve
Because of the poor picture quality and to stop people’s imagination running wild it’s worth pointing out that this is infact Rob’s left leg!
Well it must be the Welsh Traffic Sign Workman curse cast upon Steve and Rob last year on the way back from Ireland. As I have just been sent a photo of a grinder incident this evening, where the grinder attacked Rob.
Hang on, is that a new clutch? What’s wrong with the original one, it can’t have done more than 300 miles? (I bet he hasn’t replaced the friction plate..). With all the extra weight and the higher ratio will the power plant keep up? I think you’ll find the cut above the nose wasn’t the Spitfire, I’ll put money on it was Lisa when she found out how much money he’d spent on the new gearbox....? Or more than likely Steve did it himself, when he realised how much he’d spent on the gearbox!! Looking good for the 2021 trip to the Alps, just think of the fuel money you’ll save and how it’ll save your hearing too.....(well it might do). Keep up…
